Faith is your eyes to see things in the right light.

शमथ। Samatha

To be faithful means to be unperturbed. Faith emerges out of constant practice. Once it has come to the fore, it is unshakeable. What can be disturbed cannot be called faith.

‘Once faith is developed, your mind becomes sharp. Ordinarily, your mind is constantly under pressure to choose from the various options. Choice is a great gift, but it is a burden when you are under pressure. Under these circumstances, you begin to despise choice under the presumption that choice does not exist.

You must ask yourself why you are under pressure. It is because you think your life is meaningful only if it takes you in a direction which you think is right. Such thought occurs because you have no direct experience of the nature of life. Faith is the only tool your mind will subject to if you are ever to see the right picture of life.

Faith is not in an object or a person. They act as a focal point in developing faith. As it develops, you will witness a totally different reality where everything reflects the truth to you.
