World Environment Day with Venerable Mahamuni Sritha Mahagatha

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2025, Venerable Mahamuni Sritha Mahagatha joined hands with the Itoozhi Ayurveda Foundation in a soulful gesture of ecological commitment — planting trees as a symbol of healing, protection, and reverence toward Bhū Devi, our Earth.

Held at the lush Mayyil campus, the event was more than a plantation drive. It was a conscious invocation of Dharmika ecological awareness, where each sapling planted carried with it a Sankalpa — a living promise to uphold the sanctity of nature, honour the wisdom of our ancestors, and walk gently upon the Earth.

For Itoozhi Ayurveda, sustainability is not a practice — it is a way of life deeply rooted in Ayurvedic knowledge and ancestral discipline. In resonance with Mahamuni’s teachings, the gathering reflected the timeless link between inner wellness and planetary harmony.

Together, we celebrated not just a day, but a shared responsibility —
To preserve what is sacred,
To protect what is living,
To live with gratitude.
